Becca Faber
Owner, Hearing Instrument Specialist & Certified Dementia Practitioner

I entered the hearing health field after completing the Hearing Instrument Specialist program in 2018 at Conestoga College. I quickly became very fascinated with the industry and eager to learn more. I have worked in both corporate and private clinic settings, learning and adopting best practices from these experiences.

I first met Michelle (Creekside Hearing Co-owner and Office Manager) professionally in 2020 and realized that we shared the same vision of the importance of customer service. That is when the idea to create Creekside Hearing began, knowing the importance of building a positive hearing health experience.

Born and raised in Guelph, I am a new mom and have a 80-pound dog named Bauer who thinks he’s a lap dog. While in school, I was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader, and had the opportunity to be on Team Canada for cheerleading in 2010 and 2011. I coached gymnastics and cheerleading for 10 years. Prior to becoming a Hearing Instrument Specialist, I completed the Fitness and Health program at Conestoga College. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with friends and family or watching sports. Go Leafs Go!

As a wife and mother of three boys I am always on the move. I pride myself on finding balance with family and work; I find time to make both top priorities. As an Office Manager that thrives on helping others, going above and beyond with every task is important. I am enthusiastic about helping customers take the steps to better their hearing health and enjoy following them through their progress.

I began my journey to help the hard of hearing in 2007, returning to college after working 11 years in office administration. During my path into hearing health care, I worked for a hearing aid manufacturer during the summers of 2008 and 2009. After completing the Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) program at Conestoga College in 2010, I worked for a large, international company, and continued my employment with them over the last 11 years.

In 2020 Becca (Co-Owner and Hearing Instrument Specialist) and I met and began to realize our passion for hearing health care was similar in values and the need to have the best customer service throughout a clients life remained steadily important to us both. When you come to Creekside Hearing we want to make sure you are pleased with our work and know we are committed to going through the steps sharing the journey with you to improve your hearing.

When I’m not working, you can find me playing volleyball, going on walks and socializing with friends.

I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a lifelong passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives. My journey in healthcare began early, influenced by my upbringing in retirement settings, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for compassionate care and a strong desire to enhance others’ quality of life.

In 2022, I proudly graduated from Conestoga College as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, equipped with specialized knowledge to improve individuals’ hearing health. Prior to this, I completed the Pre-Health program at Conestoga College, where I first discovered my calling in the hearing healthcare industry. My professional path has been enriched by meaningful experiences directly assisting seniors, where I witnessed the profound impact of personalized care.

I am fortunate to collaborate with two like-minded colleagues, Becca and Michelle, who share my passion and commitment to making a positive impact in healthcare. Together, we foster a supportive and effective team dynamic, striving for meaningful change and exceptional experiences.

Outside of work, I prioritize maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You’ll often find me enjoying walks with my dog, Dina, traveling, or spending quality time with friends and family.
